i don't know if this matters, but we had tried flipping the cam position sensor, but ran the same in either direction. does this matter which way it is flipped?

the reason why we flipped it was becuase the machine shop may not have put it back the correct position. thanks to boostb4broads, i have the right firing order, so i just need to double check that the sensors are right and that i don't have dirty injector harnesses

Might want to double check the cam timing too, if nothing else fixes it, two different sets of crankshaft timing marks depending on it being a 6 or 7 bolt crank.

lol...its all good. me and chris (mightmaxgst) tried that firing order boostb4blondes (thanks buddy) gave me and it worked. the other problem i had was that i didn't have a good ground connected to the head. now, the new problem is, my idle shot up to 4000 rpm's when we got a good ground on it. the idle adjusting screw was all the way closed that the idle was set to the lowest setting on the vpc/gcc. chris was saying that since my battery was on the verge of being dead, it could be messing with the idle. what do you guys think?

not that the battery is on the verge of being dead, the battery is bad that's why the grounds arent good, and that's the firing order we used to begin with russell....
