i dont think its the fuel filter because you can smell the gas when its runnin, because its runnin really rich. A hand full of people have told me that it is probaly my ecu... I pulled it last night and opened it up and the cap smelled like a electrical burn smell so i just want to take it to someone that has delt with these ecu`s before to take a look at it and let me know what they think.. I was also told that there is a guy in tampa bay area that works on the dsm ecu`s, that he can repair them and hack them also. But that is what i heard dont know if that is true... Any info on this would help thanks

 

Sounds like leaky caps to me, Im sure someone on here will have a referal for you as to where you can get them replaced. Just hope you caught it soon enough. If not you might need a new ecu.

 

im not sweatin the new ecu just wanna know for sure if it is that and if it can be fixed if not i can order one now.. Does anyone know about jester and what is his turn around time with the ecu`s...

i know you said its a new MAF but have you checked the wires for continuity and the wire side connector?...just curious

 

fixed it, it was the ecu...
