he's not running 13s making 220 hp in a 2g fwd. 14b at 16psi isn't a whole lot different than a 16g at 16psi regardless of what the numbers say (flow numbers). the only flow chart i've seen for these two turbos shows the 16g barely outflowing the 14b (cfms) at 15psi...however, the temps are down...so more timing advance, and of course with a 16g you can run more boost (psi) and blah, blah, blah....if you build too much you will have to build the block, or swap. the head could do for porting or a swap, or both if you're serious about making power...not neccessary, though. just upgrade options that'll go on and on. main thing though is haveing enough fuel, ablility to tune and or trick ecu, and watching your knock so you can continue getting timing advance all over 7k rpms in 3rd....

I'm confused by this statement. What do you mean by swap? 16g is a pretty broad statement, a small is not going to be a huge noticible difference.

arron get a walbro, safc, and a data logger and you will be set. oh a fmic would also be a help. But rember guys us dsmers in high school dont have much money so if you all that are not in high school want to donate some money to the "Im in high school and i drive a dsm and im broke" fund i am sure we can help arron and me with getting our cars to the point where thay are really really fast.

Yeah... The reason why I'm "slapping" a turbo on my car is because I traded some of my useless shit for it. I don't have money to spend on my car. I try to mod when I can get a good deal but it takes time. Shit, I put in gauges before any other mod... Only because I got a great deal on them. I was planning on upgrading fuel when I had the deal and the money to take advantage of the deal.

Hah. I'm in College and I'm more broke than you are . So broke my car doesn't even run, and most of the money I could finally spend on fixing it just got paid to usf with their stupid 600 dollar dorm bill of doom. You have no room to complain.

i think ill be running mid to high 13s with 14b increase.

i was told 14b would add 40 to wheels easily without anything else.

Dude. There isa review on the 2g gst. It says 14.1-14.5 stock. If this is true even with the best driver and this supposedly easily knocks a second off the quarter i think i should easily hit 13s.
