so, i was talking to the guys who had the n/a 1st gen running 12.8 seconds and they said the 12a irons didn't didn't really match up with the 13b housings. so they used t2 irons.

The middle 12a iron doesnt match up well cuz its alot thicker cast, which creates fuel dispersment issues into the 13b with the way the primaries are set up... For what i have in mind, i wont be using the 12a middle iron, so it wouldnt bother me much at all. T2 irons are good to use, but i still believe the 12a irons have more port room than the T2's... My biggest concern is management system.... i know exactly what im doing on the inside... i just dont know what to trust to control it.

So back to the current build and out of fantasy land, new manifolds have been doctored up last night... i now have 3 T2 lower intakes in my poshared_session and damn it if aint all three of em different casts.... s4 and s5 US spec equals 2 casts... and im assuming jspec is another 1 or 2 different types of casts... so im starting to understand more of why the manifolds looked a lil off from what i was expecting. LIM has been ported and filled, gaskets created, assembly goes on this afternoon. Had small oil leak from turbo drain... tightened up an lines and leak went away. reset the tps (it was WAY off) and once again, lined up TDC and re stabbed the CAS using the method i listed earlier. re installed vacuum caps that i either missed before or that were forced off on the TB, and added new caps to the new LIM. New gaskets for the beefy blockoff plates that came with the gorgeous LIMS. much better looking than the quick BS i hacked up. Cant wait to get it together and see what happens... Today might be the day?
