i wonder if you detached the riveted "core" for lack of a better word, part of the clutch from the friction disk? I have another clutch & pressure plate from the old S4 engine-- it's a 3 or 6 puck or something w/ somea ftermarket pressure plate. its yours if I can get some cruise stuff, possibly a carpet, etc... from ya

 

Hopefully ill have some time this saturday to tackle dropping the transmission so i can see what the damage is. Then ill go from there. As far as the cruise stuff its yours, and what carpet you after?

And so the adventure begins. After the current drive train loss, i decided to go T2 trans until the NA LSD breaks (or the axles). Then that will get upgraded too. Sourcing parts is always fun. You never know how long itll take you to get everything together. Should be a fun lil project tho

Also, i have been talking with a guy who is producing an adaptor plate for the T56 transmission to bolt up to the 13b. More info to come as the info is released. Currently the setup is working well on a few 20b's and a REW FD.

I saw that but the T5 gears arent rotary friendly. I could get it re geared by G force, but the gearbox is bout 2600... plus the price i get the T5 for.... I could buy a new T5 and rotary gearbox from g force for around 3500 i believe. But the T2 trans will hold just fine as long as im not launching crazy... and be better in the gear department than the T5 and a lil cheaper and easier to put together. Looks like im heading to Orlando to get the pieces tho... we'll see.


Eventually tho... i will be looking at the T56 for street applications. 80mph at 1900rshared_pm in 6th just sounds so inviting!

Why don't I bring it down there and beat you in it. My FC will be running this week too and he's doing all the work on it, and it is mainly stock and it will probably walk you. LOL.
