I wouldn't say its harder

But a proper fuel system and fuel flow is the MOST important aspect of the rx7. Its the difference between build or bust.

If the injector were not firing properly and the car lean out between stages he may have a blown rotor...And 7's can run on 1 rotor and can hide the fact that you are blown unless you know the difference between the two. I would fix the wiring issue and do a test of the rear rotor...or the rotor that has the poor wiring. Anything else is a waste of time.

If you use a compression tester U need to remove the "stem" on the compression tester...meaning the tester will not hold the reading. U have to check for 3 bumps.

Example my one rotor reads: 104-100-100

The clip doesn't just sometimes pop off. it means some one else installed it wrong. Completely different than damaged wires.
There is no clip on the injector plug causing it to not be held on.

I am checking compression tonight, I also know how to check compression, hense 3 bumps= 3 sides of the rotor. The compresion should be between 90-115 correct?

and no I am not giving up on this car and selling it, I already took the car off the road and put my VW back on and am DDing my Jetta till I get ths car finished.

As for the rotaries are more dificult comment, I am already learning that although very different, they really arent very complex motors.
