Default FC help needed!!!

Well my optima died (SUCKS!) so I threw my volkswagon battery in which was also dead and tried to jump it off my buddies car. Wellll the car wont turn over for my than like 5 seconds before it shuts the starter off and I have to wait a couple seconds and do it again. Any ideas what the hell the problem could be? I am screwed because this is my only means of transportation and I just moved to Orlando and live by myself so I know no one. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

First hit up orlando fourms.com good site for local help.

Second...what actually seems to be the problem...just sounds like a dead battery.

Ok that was strange?

does the car sound like it is flooding when you start it? the battery will die on you if its flooded and you keep cranking it. there is a yellow and black plug underneath the dash behind the steering wheel. try pulling it out (with a fresh battery) holding the gas pedal down until it wants to "kick over" when it happens plug it back in and turn it over while barely tapping the gas. if it starts draining the battery jump the car while doing this.

We can't help you unless you have a FULLY CHARGED battery in your car. Advance or Autozone will charge it for FREE

Ok here is what happened today, I put a new battery in and after sitting all night it started right up. So I go to drive the car and it drives fine (up till around 3,800 RPMs) then it sputters and pops till 7500 RPMs, then it pulls to 8k RPMs like a bat out of hell. So then I drive it normally and then all of a sudden it starts just pouring fuel in so the car is about to die because its flooding it while I am driving it. Soooo then the car dies and I coast off to the side of the road. Then car would almost start then flood, I pulled the plug and burned off all the excess fuel and tried it again, same results over and over. I poured denatured alcohol in trying to start it etc. etc. etc. and I got it to start one time but it schoked itself out and died. Anyways long story short I never got it running, its sitting on the side of the road right now, and I hate the car.

So here is what I think is wrong with the car, I think the secondary injectors are stuck open and pouring to much fuel in so the car is instantly flooding and has no hope of starting.. anyone ever heard of that happening???

I think you have low compression. Check compression

I dont think thats what it is because the car did that one time before then it started driving normal again. I dunno at any rate I hate the car. Also we found out that the secondary injectors had bare wire exposed and was grounding out on the intake manifold. But now after trying to start t alot we can't get it to start to see if that was the problem.

ok this is exactly what happend for sure happend to me aslo...
first off under the hood is a voltage thing where if the batery gets to much voltage it shuts it down. re set the voltage thing..the injector problem is the first secondary injector wiring clip doesnt have the little metal peice holding it on.so it sometimes pops off..you have to take the intercooler off and the top part of the intake manifold off then plug the injector back in.that will fix the problem. also there is a 40amp fuse under the hood i dont know exactly what it is calle but it probibly blew and after replacing that putting the injector plug back on it will run fine

I've never heard of that...pictures, a name? Are U sure u are not talking about something called a (FUSE)

The clip doesn't just sometimes pop off. it means some one else installed it wrong. Completely different than damaged wires.

Err, the injector pulls does not pull anything near 40amps.

Your wiring harness is questionable and may have shorted (damaging the ECU) and you don't want to check compression? That is the FIRST thing you need to check is if your engine is healthy.

LOW COMPRESSION will give you flooding symptoms.
LOW COMPRESSION will give you intermitted problems

New Rx7 owners get fustrated because they feel they can trouble shoot the car like other cars and never figure out the problem. They always ending up selling it.
