Im guessing the shorter hose is bad?

I actually think i still have one laying here..

ANYWAYS...

Heres what you need to do to be safe.. the one to the front cover.. Bring that adaptor also.. Cause if I remember correctly,When I got material from them to make my own custom hoses, they had to match some fittings, but I got the anodized fittings.Material costed me like $150.

DO NOT USE an impact on that shit.

I cant believe you would think about it.Spin that steel bolt out of that aluminum to fast you can fuck some threads up.

Either you have cheap tools or you dont know what you are doing,or both..

I have a 2 foot breaker bar and a 24mm socket,if thats correct..
What area do you live?

The short hose is a major PITA. you have to find a thin wrench (some crescent wrenches will work) to hold the adapter fitting in place while you use another wrench to get the line off.

It works best if you can wedge the handle of the wrench holding the fitting against something solid (not the radiator) and then you can use a breaker bar or some other form of leverage extender on the other wrench.

And if you put it on the low setting, an impact wrench is great for breaking the bolts loose. NOT taking them out and NOT putting them back in.
