jeezus you're going to hate the car with those wheels/tires... just drive for a month on those and then go put the 14's back on for fun. Its a HUGE difference on a Miata, they are so damn sensitive to wheel size and weight.

+1 i had 16 inch Oz racing wheels,went back to stock 14's with RT-615's.And thats gonna rub like a bitch mine rubbed with 16's with 35 series tires.Those are monsters.

Tophat as in mounts for it? You dont have to use the old ones, you can even get pillowball ones.

Spring rates...I'm pretty sure they are a bit more than stock and thats all

I've heard nothing but good things until now from people that have had them

there prob fine for daily, my friend had them on his 240sx and i just hated them. i would have atleast gotten the Flex.

Thats all I'm using them for...btw maybe he did something wrong.

Also, the tires are obviously for daily as well, as they are too wide for competition

nah they were mounted and adjusted right, they were just too soft for.......uh...what i wanted to do with the car at the time...haha.
