no the FS-DE is a mazda made engine. 97% of the protege is japanese parts. And the vehicle is assembled in japan as well.
I am pertty sure that the turbo kit is installed at the port.

FS-DE is the last in the line of the F series engines that have been around since the 80's. It's a Mazda design.
Port installed turbo kit means that it's a turbo kit, installed once the cars are delivered to the PORT in the USA. The mazda factory does NOT install it.

no.......
do you really think callaway has time to come out and install some thousands of mazdaspeed protege turbo kits.
Its installed at port..probably by their mechanics...or whatever.
