Incorrect. The Red GTI won 2nd Place and the Black GTI one 3rd place.
The Red one totally deserved it. The Black one, she has more of performance mods then anything. I don't know what other Euros where there so I can't tell you if it was deserved or not. I know my euro wasn't cool enough though and wasn't dirty enough to have wash me on it.

It was very unorganised. But thats how you learn. I am very sure they never expected that many people at the event. So they did with what they copuld. All the favoritism was some damn bull shit though. I seen rows race twice while I'm in line for 3 hours. My bad for whoever was held up by me arguing with that track guy but he just got under my skin when he said I cut in line. Yet the JDM UPS camp still rep'd well. I still got my run.

Unfortunately I was not at the event. But I know from experience how hard putting on a large show like this is. Unless you have ever put on show like this, you most likely are taking it for granted. Jdmups worked hard to bring something new to the scene and the area. Perhaps it was too small, or whatever the case may be, but it was the first time at that track. How many of you pre registered? Prob. not many. So how would they know that it was going to be too big? At the end of the day event throwing is a business. Perhaps it was moved from Bradenton as a business move. As a company you can not continue to support tracks that take more away from the scene then they put it in. On the surface it may seem great for you as the competitors but if they cant make money or work it out with the owners of a track they cant afford to keep the shows going. I say +1 for trying something new. On behalf of AEG/TR were sorry we couldnt make it.
Mike, that was the BEST explanation anyone could have put it and yes its hard to support tracks that dont support what we do. There are reasons why we chose a different locale and reasons why we will not be going back to Brandenton Raceway. We support the local street scene and its hard to do business at certain locations if the are unwilling to accomodate us. We try are best but cant make everyone happy. Thank You everyone and TR for your support, we will be contacting you about our next event soon.

Yea I was just aggervated at the track staff..Bradenton has the same amount of cars racing and they seem to keep the line moving just fine..Other than that I had fun.
Oh and that ws my first Jdmups event and I will go to more.

Well said sir! You hit it right on the head. We def do our best to accommodate everyone but as Mike said this was a new track for us. We did not know how many of you were going to join us. But my self and all of my staff were very pleased to see the high representation of both cities. We did this event just for Tampa and Orlando, and both cities came out to battle. We thank all of you for the good feedback and bad...this is how we grow. And by staying connected to the street scene and avid racers that have great ideas we are able to give and provide more.
And AEG/TR no worries we have plenty more!

ok the event was good.. but the track staff and the track it self sucked.. i understand the jdm ups peeps, and that they had there work cut out for them on the show size and judging,, but the track people where horrible i didnt get one run in, when in brandetton i got 5 in a hour.. the girls where cute the climate was perfect other than the pollen,, again the only thing that sucked where the dumb asses that where running the track.. other than that i was on with it.. though i was not happy w best truck award the xtreme was wayyy more modded and better looking than that STOCK cobra crew tacoma.. but o well.. i will attend a next show but mark my words if you guys want this to continue and keep people coming, the track people is gonna have to step it up much much moree.....
