Ooops, looks like I clicked 'quick reply' instead of 'quote' when I replied. Yes, I own the Max that won Best Female Ride! I was talking to 240kidx on page 26 of this thread...who seems to feel differently than the judges.

 

thanks JDM Up's for putting a great event I had fun until I decided to run the strip and ended up been stuck waiting for about 3 hours to run..

I missed the trophies presentation and won Best of show so my buddy got it for me.. that got me happy again and than to finish up the night my intercooler clamp came of at the line when I launched.

Look forward on going to you guys next event!!

The show was good, it was a great turn out.

The parking sucked though.

I wanted to run but then i saw that line and changed my mind, i wouldve been mad if i wouldve been in that line for 3 hrs +. My friend was in line for so long he had time to go to the food stand wait like 30 mins in line and go back, it was moving so slow. Some really nice cars there though. The judging did start too late, all my friends left like at 830ish and i left like at 10. When i was leaving is when i heard they were going to start judging. WAYYYY too late.

They should also have more experienced people judging the cars. just sayin

Over all good show. This was my first time at a JDM Ups event. I will be attending more.

& 15$ per person i think is a lil steep if yer just watching.
Should be 15 per car.

 

i went to bradenton jdm ups , and it was the best. but just being honest . this one sucked ass. and i will never go to lakeland again. Bradenton over anywhere.

 

Its was a great event no doubt BUT you plan for more than your expecting... so if you think 100 will show then plan for 300 and you will not get cought under handed. Just a little something ive had to learn the hard way when it came to shows. IF you need help just LMK!

 

What you all have to understand is that when a "SHOW" is being held it normally means there will be trophies handed out and aalllllllllll and anyone thats into the heavy moding of a car or bike will come out and show off there ride.

$15 a person is perfect.. Florida people are cheap as f*ck when it comes to shows. Back in Texas or many other states i either had or went to car shows it was a minimum of $20 per adult & $15 for kids $25 if you wanted to show...

Big shows to show was double that..

These guys have trophies, track and alot of stuff that has to get paid for unless something is worked out..


Prices are great in my opinion.. As far as the show being rice! Thats just something you will have to expect when its a "CAR SHOW"

 

I had fun at the event, but the staging took forever and the lighting could have been better. it was a great turn out and there was so sick cars out there. this busted old camaro won best domestic some how.... but whatever. music was good until it got dark then they changed to the crappy stuff.

out of all the negative i give the event a 9 out of 10 still!!!
