Sunshine is a different event. If jdm ups would do it during the day it would be better because cars can be judged in day light, more family oriented, and easier to keep people there, it was so dark where the cars were parked i couldnt see them clearly and take nice pics which kind of killed it for me

Wouldnt let me edit it so i quoted it:True on the street racing... But i doubtt regardless JDMUps or who ever do what ever shows that street racing will stop..In my experience anyone street racing isnt doing it at 8, 9 , 10 or 11 P M.. Anyone into street racing specialy in Tampa is going to be out late , super late at the normal spots out there running there asses off.. Just saying.. Regardless i give it up to JdmUps for coming such a long way from greg cutting decals to throwing some pretty nice events out here and keeping the "SHOW" scene going.. I guess i have to get off my ass and do something aswell.

 

That may have been what killed me then.
Again, I got judged, but had to find someone later about 9pm, and by that time, my car was full of dust and pollen. Blah!

Thanks Merv for opening this thread back up. Those two going back at each other were handled. NOW....This is the last time I tell everyone. WE ARE NOT GOING BACK TO BRADENTON. Yes Lakeland is smaller, yes judging took long, yes there were alot of cars running. Until anyone gets it through their heads that alot of what happend is out of our control the complaints will keep rolling through. We did our best to handle that amount with what we had and my crew did an awesome job. Lakeland was not ready for an event of this size..Nobody was ready for an event this size. We appreciate the comments and we do listen to what people are saying, Thank you. But plan on us doing something different at each event and moving around this region. Orlando needs to get ready for us to come that way in May..see you guys soon

We throw these events for the scene. We arent trying to show anyone up or say we are the best out there. We are import enthusiasts our selves and have a passion for what we do. We thank everyone for your support and we will continue to improve on our shows...As a side note, stop the BS and take it to a PM. All that whining, bitching and groaning makes everyone look immature and it doesnt help anyone..Just saying thats all. Thanks

 

we have 7 more events this year...im sure 3 of them will start in the morning and end at night..we will keep you posted

 

Overall the show was good, it was my first time attending, maybe i should have gotten there earlier, i got there like at 830

Maybe next time ill enter the show

 

Jdm ups meets were good cause it was in a lighted parking lot, but yeh most shows i have been to is during the day, witch will make it alot better.
