absolutley with blake on this one... ball bearing turbos are a waste of money and unrebuildable.
and garret is just not in the top of the turbo game any more. kkk, holeset, borg warner/schwitzer, they just make better more efficient and MUCH more reliable turbos.
and no, borg warner and garrett are not affiliated with one another. they do not share parts.
ho0nestly i'd snag a used hx35 or hx40 and have it rebuilt before i'd drop coin on anything that starts off with "gt"

when darin set the full weight, 6 speed, stock block record at 9.2... he was on a borg warner turbo, and darin is one of the guys constantly repping the borg warner turbos... so he's a poor example.
i'll never say ball bearing isnt better. its just not worth it in my opinion. i'm just not a fan of shelling out money that could be spent elsewhere over a couple hundred rpms of lag...
