Well technically it is. Anything other than OEM or OEM replacement is considered a modification and legally they can ticket you for it.

Shitty but that's the law. Kinda funny how you never see the muscle cars getting in trouble for it though

I got one of those in Volusia county a few years ago.....I put a stock muffler on it and took the car to the court house and they reduced the ticket a lot...I have no idea if you can still do that.

You don't see harleys getting tickets for that either, ever.
