we're planning on renting the track for a day and setting up our own event. we don't have too many specifics yet but it will be 20 cars entering with elimination rounds. we want to do both track racing and drag racing. possibly a drift event soon too. cash prizes.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

There's a day at the beach on the 18th, on DeSoto in St. Pete. 'Old School' (Pre-91') Honda/Acura meet. And a general old school meet in the same place the weekend after.
