^Ive never heard of springs being too short as long as they are for a Honda/Acura. Did you lower the car down on the springs?

 

yeah, what shocks did you use with them?
i checked the serial numbers on them after i bought them so i know there right.

I finally got the spring compressor to work, i had to use an impact though. and i'm a dumbass, the air compressor was fine lol. i put the skunk2 sleeves and springs on and maxed out the height on them and the metal cap with the two studs that sits on top was still loose. i tried what you said and lowered it like that but the driver side spring isn't sitting on there right. Nick said it's because the compression height on the stock shocks is too high. so i'll have to put the OEM springs back on until i can get a set of the KYB's.

btw you forgot to scoop that compressor and bracket!

 

i never got to use them bro i bought them off ebay used so im not sure what he put them on im sure you can use them with OEM shocks tho

 

^Kyle they will work. The cap on the top will be loose no matter what because the shocks are tall but as soon as you put them on the car and lower it, the shock will compress all the way down to the spring (that's why my OEM shocks on my car are blown) It will work, it just doesn't look like it until you have them installed on the car. I thought the same thing when I was doing it on the Sol.

Yea I realized I forgot to grab it once I left. If you're free this weekend just let me know and I will come back and see what's up with the shocks.

^Haha. I heard he traded his R for that hatch? The hatch MUST be super clean for someone to trade a 00' R. I want to see it up close.
