swap???
just look for a GSR motor, much easier to swap and more reliable. I'm sure you want to just get the motor in without any worries. don't bother with trying to build a motor, you can allways do that later.

I would put in a complete b16 swap, (new as posible)
get you back on the street. then I would source a ls block and build that on the side, take your time, no rush. then when your done w/ that I would stick it all together -minus the b16 block and whamo ls/vtec. Do not start with the ls complete that thats back wards start w/ the b16 complete swap.

ls/vtec is as reliable as the builder theres ur answer ls/vtec turbo setup right is quicker than a gsxr600
