Default d16z6 PCV System question

i have a question about the PCV System on a 1993 d16z6. the guy before me put a hose from the breather box (chamber) behind the intake manifold on the block to the intake... weird i know but he did. so in order to not go to honda and buy the rest of the system, do i have another option? i have read a couple things about the oil catch cans, but i am not sure if that can be a complete fix for not having to replace the rest of the system. so on the picture i have #2 #3 and the box, and then a hose going from the nipple to the intake manifold. i am missing from #11 up to the intake manifold and Honda wants 160 for it. is there an alternative i can do so i dont have to spend that but i also want something that will do and perform the same. i am not too familiar with the PCV System this is why i am asking.

Phase one:
To be safe, we all realize that you are asking a question related to off road use only. Once the car is warmed up and running well,
take your finger and plug off the nipple on the manifold by number 12. If the car continues to run well, you might plug it off on a more permanent basis to avoid excess air getting sucked in, compared to the amount of fuel.

Some people have put on a small "air filter-looking" device from a motorcycle at number 2 and put a small hose clamp on it. I don't know what it is called or what it sells for. You can also put in longer line or shorter line as needed to make it look nice.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On some cars I've seen 1. the
"air filter-looking" device moved to the nipple near number 10. and 2. the nipple plugged at number 12 and everything else eliminated for an even cleaner look. Tiny numbers, but the multisided plastic or metal device (looks like number 1)
is actually a catch can, catching oil vapors, cooling them and allowing them to drain back into the motor, while excess vapors would get sucked into the manifold near number 12. Where the "catch can" plugs into the block, a person can epoxy a bigger diameter "nipple"
and attach a bigger diameter plastic hose that will lead to a nicer looking, remotely located catch can. Clear plastic hoses for breather lines look nice and are cheap from Home Depot.

If you are near Tampa Florida, we can look at your car sometime and I can pass on a few details. Whatever I write at Tampa Racing is always criticised by 17 year old know-it-all jerks from some other website who only know how to bolt-on expensive stuff instead of fabricate something... so I'm not writing an article on fabricating breather hoses and catch cans.

Where are you in town?
