Default How many of you have done the PCV system delete?

I know TR doesn't have much Dub/Audi support, but I was wondering if any of you guys have completed the mod. Notice a difference? Likes? Dislikes? I am replacing about every valve in the system just for precaution. Also interested if you noticed any improved throttle response and or small power/flow gain.

yeah i havent gotten around to doing the sai delete, pcv, n249 and evap system yet
but it seems rather easy just have to get all the right parts.
idk if your trying to do all of that.
but if you do, you'll need the block off plate, a few resisters, and a catch can

I havent done it yet. I dont really have the time to go tearing into my car. I will be taking the car off the road breifly to do a few things towards the end of the year and I will be cleaning everything out of the bay.

Pretty sure there isn't a SAI on the longitudinal 1.8t, just the PCV system. There's a nice write up on Audizine, was just seeing if anyone here had completed one. I'm in the process of replacing check valves, suction pump, purge valve, etc etc.. A lot of money to invest in an unnecessary emissions system.

Not all 1.8t's have an SAI. AEB engine code from passat and some of the audi configurations don't have them. I deleted all that garbage out of the engine bay, and i have a much better vac.

If you're planning on doing it, a friend and I made this DIY while doing it on our cars. It's a lot more fool proof than sav's diy that was posted above with better pictures. You can thank me later.
