I still stand by my previous post because I do not believe you have the tools to balance the rods when you are done polishing them, that you take them to a machine shop and have them rebalanced.

We're going to start banning if I have to clean up more threads like I just did. Keep the name calling out of it and just make a remark. You all are acting like a bunch of sniveling children.
With that said, the rod modification is totally viable. By removing material so that the surface is level, any scratches/gouges that could become stress risers are eliminated. With that said however, I would hope that the author of this post is familiar with the die grinder and can properly use it as well as selecting the proper grit matrix.

it blew due to the fact that my boost controller was put on in a fashion that it was not suposed to... not to point any fingers but that IS the reason it blew (controller fell off) Taylor was even shocked that John would have put it on like that... if it wasnt for that i would still be driving the beast...

just to give you some insite guys i did research this before i started polishing . i talked to endyne and they explained how the process is done. i also inquired w/ some machine shops and they wanted too much to perform this opperation. polishing is not hard and as long as you keep the grinding motion up and down the beam and not across it you wont compromise the integrity of the rod.as far as balanceing goes ill be doing that as well .the machine shop showed me where they remove material when balanceing. i have a scale that will allow me to accurately do this.( it looks nothing like the one you get on to see if your subway diet is working) so im not just some punk kid trying to make my rods look all BLING BLING.

I mounted the b.c. in the only reasonable manner it could be, perhaps if you had better equipment (which I did recommend to you) it may not have happened.
