rough running b16a

Default rough running b16a

i have a 92 b16a in my ek hatch when im driving the car seams to just shut off the backfires real bad and starts running again. then the other night after it did that a few times it wouldnt go over 2000 rpms. kinda like it was in two step or hitting the rev limit. if you guys could help me out that would be great.

sounds like and ignition/ecu problem

it could be a bad distributor. mine would do that because the copper wire inside the dizzy started unraveling. also check the coil and ignitor.
