Picked up a new CF hood from a buddy for a good price but I'm having fitment issues with the hood so here is the problem.

here is the catch for th CF hood its about a 1/4 of an inch taller (lower) than the stock hood which is why it doesn't fit assume?


what i'm wondering is can i remove the bolts where my fingers are and move the entire latch assembly down or is there an easier way to do this?


My friend suggested hood pins but personally I don't like them and don't see a need for them unless my options are limited.

Any help is appreciated. Thanx guys.

 

you can loosen the hood hatch and adjust to your liking. and dont forget the bump stops or whatever its called for the hood by the fenders
