Default hard to get in first gear and really hard to get in reverse???

its a LS tranny for somee reason the clutch is not disengauging all the way and other than turning the car off and putting in in reverse i cant get in just grinds. also first gear to sometimes i cant get in gear.

replaced clutch cable cuz the old one was binding some and it worked good for like a day now im starting to think my throwout bearing is messing up not letting the clutch disengauge all the time

any ideas?

Either the clutch disk blew up or the pressure plate is wore out. I'd suggest a new clutch kit. Resurface both faces of the flywheel also to ensure proper contact.
