when im racing, most of the time i miss 3rd gear, idk if this is common but if i put lucas tranny oil u think that will help,
when im over 6 rpm, its hard to shift into 3rd, why is that, and i think that common in most tranny, i just wana get educated a bit

ealier today, i was taking a car for a spin, when i went to shift it into 3rd it got like halfway, and when i let got of the car, i locked up, i tupght i fucked up my tranny, how is it that the trannys start grinding? my car does grind at all, but how can i prevent it from messing up?

synchro/hub/sleeve Damaged. Need to be rebuild. and no this is not common. Thats from beating/missing gears and overheating from lack of fluid maintenance that causes the damage.

you can try to do a temporary fix by adding some GM Synchromesh Friction Modified. Let it soak in your tranny for a day or two. If its not to bad it should help
