93 civic lx Thick steady stream of white smoke after bizzare ecu problem.
Hey all,
a couple months ago i did a b7 z6 mini swap and every thing has been running great till just last week when i had a bizzare ecu problem that would keep my #2 cylinder injector constantly open causing my engine to posibly flood and misfire on the cylinder.
I reset the ecu and that solved that problem, it was the last thing i would have thought to try and that solved that problem.
My problem now is that since that has happened, my car has been blowing a steady stream of white smoke.
1. It doesnt smell like gas so im sure its not from anything stuck in my exhaust piping.
2. I know there isnt a leak in the head gasket because i dont see any milk, or loss in coolant, just oil.
Is it posible for flooding from a constantly open injector cause the piston rings and oil seal ring to go bad?
The pcv valve is located on the intake malinfold between the #1 and #2 cylinders perhaps this is what is causing the leak?
can a constant spray of gas cause the pcv valve to fail?
(i did notice some oil that has leaked from the edges of the valve cover indicating high crank case pressure)
I just need some posible solutions, im waiting till tommorow to get my enging compression checked out too to see if that information will rule out any other posible issues.
Thanks TRF

Do a leak down test and compression test. should help find where the problem is.
