my car smokes like crazy when i get on it, but only at about 4k...it doesn't smoke if im just coasting along though. but then again, this sohc monster has 215,XXX miles on it. does anyone know the problem.

Think you just answered your own question. Replace seals, gaskets, etc. Hope your piston rings are still sealing good.

 

yeah dude my car has 202k and one of the valve seals is bad cause when you pull the wires off the plugs there is oil around the spark plug

 

i think i'll just need to save for a b series then. its amazing how i can beat on this motor and it still lasts though.

+1 for b series, since we all know b series 4 doors own....

 

Thats just your valve cover gasket, not your valve seals.....

$20, easy 30 min fix......
