Default easy hp for my eg civic?

im sorry if this has been covered before but i couldnt find anything on it. i have a mostly stock z6 and i want know that there are stock emission control components that rob horsepower, my question is besides header/exhaust and cold air intake if there are any factory deletes or anything like that i can do for a couple extra hp here and there

im looking to get a little more hp from my stock motor for now but it has 200,000+ miles on it never rebuilt. it runs strong still but ill be building another motor on the side for itbs or turbo. im planning on doing a cold air, full exhaust, and msd but just looking to see if i can find some hidden hp by doing some factory deletes or something simple for now.

actually yes, there is a pretty simple trick you can do.. you wire in a 12v to a 12v power on ignition (when ignition is on, power is on.) you run it to the back seat, you take off the fuel pump cover, hook up a ground , and run the wire into the tank, then make sure you do the same with the 12v wire, (if i were you the safest way is to run it through the grommet that the other wires are running through on the lid.) what this will do is send double the voltage to the fuel pump causing you to gain another 5-6 hp.

not really. but in all seriousness. there is no deletes that will make you gain hp. if i were you i would just swap out that motor. especially with 200,000 miles.

Sounds like an "LS" B18B1 motor swap will be just what the doctor ordered for ya. It's easily obtainable, cheap to look after/modify, etc....look into it
