It wasnt real cool tonight but it was nice enough you know.
Had finished up my back to back physics and calc finals at old U Cant Finish.
Im thinking i am going to head out to Polo ralph lauren right. Its %15 off for customer appreciation. word. so im on alfaya. I see a nice gti flash by. mk4 i think no funny wheels and tires; keeping it real from factory. Probably sourced from a G60 corrado. I dont know about those krauts so who knows. But the suspension is tight no bobbing and bouncing like a hond/ac reject. But im at the stop light at alfaya and 50. he rides on down alfaya
red light i catch up to him near best buys and the toll road. I know that rear end of curry ford is comming up. He cruises by i think he wants some of this.
Theres the turn lane Flipps blinker then flips alternating ok its on.
he takes a madd late apex on to curry ford. hmm maybe he knows somethign i dont? Nope gaining.
we have a slalom: sentra triton V8 and some other elantra somethign or the other comming up. Its safe room enough for the negotiation during the first turn.
Mistake: i let off the gas during the apex to sort of correct a bit and let him pass off the opposing side. nothing got squirly but there was a definte drift. not quite control cause i dint mean to do it. but it felt good. Not one of those oh shit there go my favorite rims moments.
were both unsettle. comming into the second turn. so we just glide through it. then set up again.
The big arch with the brick wall that feeds to the long stright is comming up. I let him pull ahead i am pretty sure i can exit faster than him cause he doesnt know about makeing the most of the apex. But wait hes setting up.. no he cuts way early hugging the raduis almost instantly. he must still think the shortest distance will win the race. needless to say i steadily pull on him and just about over take him in the apex then slingshot out on to the straight with a good deal more speed than he has.
this was a good one. Much respecta to the VW driver. i sort of feel bad about threading the traffic. but oh well
