What will happen if i use 100 octane in stock ls vtec
There is a racing gas station down the street that sells 94 97 100 octane gas i wanted to know the advantages of using this fuel will i get better mpg will it improve my hp just wondering kuz the 100 octane sells out here for $5.00 a gallon and thats only $1.00 extra compared to 4 a gallon

yes i do i got the bottom out of a integra at pick and pull the engine was good just car was smashed on the back
so its the stock block stock b18a1 pistons stock rods and and stock rod bolts

Ok, why did you go with a stage 2 cam. Might be a little to much cam for that compression.
Back on topic though. Just use 93 octane and go get your car tuned you should see a noticeable difference once you do that.

LS pistons do not have large enough valve reliefs for VTEC size intake valves. You can get away with using stock VTEC cams because they do not have enough lift to cause an interference issue. After market cams have more lift and will most likely cause P2V contact.
