i have a 97 integra and i am looking into buyin a dohc f20b vtec with 197 hp i know i am goin to need custom mounts but will this engine be compatible with the gsr trans thats in my car and what are the cons with this motor and the guy told me it comes with a manul ecu i dont know what that means so if anyone has experiance with this engine let me know thanx

 

You would need mounts and an h2b conversion plate in order for that engine to work with your trans mission. The ecu is for an f20 with a manual transmission. I'm pretty sure you can get everything from hasport.com contact them and they can give you the info you need.

Also you might need to run vtec wires depending on what integra you have.

So which integra do you have. Year/trim level?

 

i have a 1997 acura integra gsr b18c1 vtec but i threw a rod so i am looking into the f20b

You might also need an obd2 to obd1 jumper harness. Is the f20 obd1?
