The tach worked fine before taking it apart, didn't touch the wiring for it. It's connected straight to the dizzy wire. It actualy worked first time after getting it back together, and not now, with the same symptoms with the car was giving me.

No CEL on ACC. Never seen the light before

If something its not right you will have a code, this might be preventing Vtec from activating.

1. Fix your bulb and see if it has a check engine light
2. If your desperate head To Autozone and tell them to scan your car for codes

Went to Autozone to have the code pulled. Only 2 codes

P0117
P0113

After lookins that code is IAT, which is probably that sensor plug that is unpluged. Sounds to me that it went to the stock intake, but since I have a "hot air intake", its gone. Its been gone since I have had the car so I know its not the problem.

Is there any way to temperarily ground the ECU? I need to find out if its a ground or posibly omething in the Dizzy. I did notice on my way to Autozone my aftermarket tach would freak out.

P0117 is coolant temp sensor which needs to work for Vtec
There are actually three temp sensors. The 2-wire temp switch for the fan on thermostat housing, the 1-wire temp sending unit for the dash gauge under the distributor, and the 3-wire temp sensor for the ECU forward of the sending unit under the distributor. The last sensor is related to CEL code P0117. You might have a bad sensor but since you just pulled the head and all was fine before maybe you plugged the connectors in wrong??

Fixxed it, I replaced the sensor with one I had laying around, got a new dizzy from a member on here B18B OBD2, but I swapped intrnals into my B16 housing, then had no spark at all. Ended up with a blown fuse under the dash.

Starts right up, and runs better then before I broke it. Gotta love Honda's, just wish my dirtbike wasn't so finicky

I will be getting in touch with a few of yall later this week, I promised to give those who kept up with my threads and help me get the car running a few bucks... sorta to say thanks for the help. I will PM yall later.
