no, ive never had a boosted car before, thats why im asking these questions, i asked some friends, but none run a boosted low comp single cam, just an evo, 240, and corolla
they suggested all of the above, in my list of stuff, but told me later that i need 550cc injectors
im using the cometic gasket,to be safe, and the t28 cuz im not gonna build this any further, or upgrade the turbo, id go b series before i did any of that, and i wont have lag with the t28

i wanna get it quick, running, and clean, then trade it for an ek hatch with a/c

i think this build is a good combo for a low budget buid, z6 head flows the best, y8 itm flows the best, and the ls tb is prety big
and the bottom end has rods the same size as a z6, and really dished pistons

will i spin with the si tranny?
should i get the dx? lx? ex? si? zc? vx?

Why build one car to sell for another car? If you think your just going to throw it all in and your car will be runnin like a champ you should just buy a b series now and not even waste your money on a turbo set up. You are going to hit every wall in the world with your first turbo setup, and i dont think you will have the funds to finish it when all is said and done, just sounds like your plans are overlooking reality

$1500 won't get you close to a reliable turbo build.

I think he can get close with 1500. Not a build I would do but I think it feasible.

why not a jap tune?
my phearable ecu was 208 bucks, but i can get the ecu tuned, dyno tuned, etc, for 300
and 1500 is fonna be enough, considering i already have the engine and jumper harness, and ecu, and intake mani with tb
and someone who will sell me the 550cc injectors for only 100
