I only rev to 7k in my B16 LMAO

I need me a motor with some torque!

From what I have been reading when i was considering a B20/V build, 7200 sounds like a very good spot to be safe.

Your just in your power band. Take that bitch to 8200 with no worries at all.

The b20 vtec should stay in the higher 6s

What Cams ?
Balanced rotating assembly ?

The only proper way to find out if it likes it is on a dyno

It may not make power/torque that high. No need to cont to spin the motor higher if the power isnt there.

$30 can answer this question easily

if u look on any dyno graph with a stock b20/v setup the power band falls off allmost the same as a h22 72-7300 any more is a waist

I would, but as soon as I get into that RPM range, and I let off the gas and pull that little lever next to my leg backwards, it makes a little grind

Actualy I have been taking her into 7.5k lately with no grinding, and I havn't put in the syncro mesh yet..
