All depends on whats trans/gearings and work is done. If the motor doesn't make power that high and/or shifting that high doesn't put him back into his powerband there's no reason. Also, if it's a street car and wants it to live a long life keep the limiter around 7200rpm

 

-_- thats stock D series area lmao wrap that tach out and ya you do need torque. I never understood why Honda put the torqueless wonder in a Civic that weighs 2500lbs and the Teg that weighs maybe 100lbs more gets a B18C GSR. They should have put the B18C1 in the Civic Si, B16A in the Civic Hatch, then left the tegs with what they have. Even things out ya know.

 

u can easily rev it to 8 with titanium retainers and up graded valve springs, go duel coil

 

7500 messed up my ls I wouldnt push it past 7000

Well more info for you guys on the car, Its got a rev hard turbo manifold and the turbo is td04h and it has 440 injectors... But we are trying to hop on the proven power dyno this weekend but its a drive

 

We have people come all the time from sarasota We're literally right off i75 so it shouldnt be too bad of a drive...
