to slam it would be pointless on the streets of Tampa, you'll end up doing more damage to your EF then good.

buy adjustable coilovers and that way you can change the height of your car.

remember, your camber in the front is not adjustable so the lower you go the more negative camber you will have which means the more uneven wear you will have on your tires.

also if you lower your car do not use your stock shocks, they'll just blow out and you'll have issues that aren't worth it. so if you are going to do coilovers then do the shocks with them.

there are a lot of good combos out there that aren't that expensive. suspension is important even in daily driving so don't cheap out and remember you'll need an alignment when you lower the car

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I lower cars with modified springs as well as install aftermarket items,
but there are limitations........

Axles might not break, but the oil pan is subject to manhole covers that are too high.........and sometimes speed bumps......

Some people drop their cars for a meet and raise them back up when they leave.......-Bob
