integra not turning over what could this be?
So that starter spins but isn't turning the motor over? If so then the start is bad. If your start isn't making any noise or even trying to turn the motor over, the solenoid in it is bad...which means you still need to replace the starter.
Well if it is spinning and not engaging the flywheel or torque converter then it is still bad. The way the starter works is it has a small gear that engages the teeth on the flywheel/torque converter which in turn spins the motor. That small gear in the starter, when activated, comes out of the starter. It can break to where it wont come out anymore but still spins inside of the starter. Your not being very detailed when you say what is going on. Until you decide to give MUCH more detail and a step by step of events then this is where my help stops.
ok so i try and start it and the fly wheel is spining but it dosent sound like it has compression but i dont know why it wouldnt i just replaced the head gasket brand new head new oil i changed the dizzy last night and still nothing i dont know whats wrong because it ran great like a couple of hours before (fri) and then i go to start it and it dosent start is that detail enough? if not let me know
