110 plus 75 dry shot safe?

Default 110 plus 75 dry shot safe?

i have a basically stock b16a.. going to the track thurs and thought about putting 110 in on the way. just wanted to know someones EDUCATED thoughts

aslong as you retard the ignition timing you would be safe even on 93oct. with the right fuel pressure. i have done it on a stock ls... 110 would help yes, but isnt really needed.

just figured i would see if i could get better times with 110... i always run 93 and have sprayed my car many times with it. timing is retarded 2 degrees

unless its tuned, the higher octane wont really help the car to run better times. it only suppresses detonation doesnt make any power gains just by adding to 93oct.

then i guess if it wont hurt.. ill do it, i was mainly concerned about messing something up being i use the car for work

the only thing with running the 110 is its leaded and over time will defect the o2 sensor. other than that its good to go.

and honestly the cost of 110 isnt really worth purchasing just cause. now if your car needed it then that would be a different story. but just to do it? it isnt worth the cost. but thats just my opinion.

only thing i see being a plus by running it with your set-up, is having the "race gas" smell
