Motor SWAP /TRANS/QUESTION?? Please help.
You cant look at it like that, your in the performance game where NOTHING is reliable to a full extent, shit happens. I know people that are still running 2-3 yrs on simply gsr/b16 turbo'd setup's and still doing work, then I know people who's motor popped on the dyno.
Like someone else mentioned, you will never make awesome power NA on oem parts, its a waste of time. Some with SOHC's a waste of time.
I have NEVER lost to a SOHC, much less found one that wanted to run me. Just because one person out there does something doesnt mean it happens all the time, cool ONE SOHC is in the 12's all motor, but how many B series do that without trying? GTFO with that
