clouds and clouds of smoke.
You really need to pull the head off and see what the pistons look like at this point. It sounds like oil to me, which could be anything at this point. You should probably bring the engine to someone who knows what they're doing. The head needs to be rechecked for anything that could be wrong with it, and so does the bottom end.

not everything done to this motor was done by the same person. the head was done by carquest and they said everything was fine. The valves seals r new also. The bottom end is where i think everything is happenin. um.. as far as the pcv set up where is the longer hose supposed yo go? i know the short one goes to the top of the block but wat about the long one? valve cover? intake mani? Im not driving my car and all the walls look perfect. I think the oil rings on the piston most likely got messed up while this guy was pushing them in. I am the one that personally gapped them to make sure and yes they were compressed upon installation. Just while pushing them in he had trouble because they wouldnt just slide in...

ok so im confused whos motor are we talking about is it your or his or both ...as for the pcv id have to see it but if its setup wrong it could be sucking oil via vacuum and filling the intake runners...if he used a good compressor and they were gapped properly they would have slid in easy with a few bumps of a wooden handle and also did he or you clock the rings properly so that the gaps would not line up and cause blow by
