^ no problem.

this maybe a dumb question but was the head/intake surface cleaned properly when installing the gasket? i ask because i had a motor that didn't and coolant was leaking in through the intake runners...

Ahah ^ That Is A Very Good Possibility But Does The Gsr Manifold Have A Water Passage In It? Im Not Sure ... Its Slipping My Mind.. Oh And Also Dont Forget He Could Have Gotten A Bad Gasket Or The Wrong One

wow if they had problems just installing the pistons then i could just picture the other problem with your motor.. like they all said you will need to take it back apart and have it rebuilt ring..if he did not compress thos rings and they cam out as he tapped down the piston thos oil rings will chip very very easy...do not keep driving it

also if he had such a hard time with the rings he may have not gapped them correctly or gapped them at all..

^+1 for both RPM_Motorsportz and rangcrx, if this guy had a hard time doing simple stuff like that then you can be sure there are problems else where.

+1 on you should tear down and refresh again soon to make sure you have not scarred the cylinder walls already
