I had a JDM ITR 4-1 when I had my ITR and it was great. Most of the power gains seemed to have taken place in the higher RPMs. Since this is where the ITR pulls it worked out well.

Well if I were to do the dc jdm and get the spoon pipe will the spoon pipe bolt on to my tanabe exhaust flange or would I have to modify the exhaust also?

carbonfiber go on honda-tech.com ITR forum. SMSP Hytech headers are good (although new and not relatively popular yet). some guys dynoed the headres and i think these 2 came out on top in the gains. i think apexi and spoon header were also good contenders. just search for a post in the forum and look at the dyno graphs.
