header problem

im having a problem with my header its rubbing on the crossmember right behind my radiator.could this header be the wrong one?i dont want to ruin such a nice piece

what kind of header is it a itr 4-2-1?

or you could tell us what kinda car what motor or swap you have and then what header then we can help some more

stock motor 94 accord 4-2-1 dc model #hhc 5012 i think ive got a bad mount but im not sure

Hell you very well could have a bad motor mount! Does it rub all of the time? You would have noticed upon install if that was the case. Get the mount fixed and if that doesnt work bang that cross member in a little. The banging and bashing works for hybrid CRXs why wouldnt it work for Accords!

im gonna go have the mount looked at. thats the only thing i could come up with.but its my first installthought i ask some peeps who have already been there.

Id suggest taking the suspected mount and and inspecting it but if its your first install...Id get a mechanic or friend with some know-how and nice tools to look at it. By the way if you bought the car used perhaps it was in a prior accident and the frame is a bit bent. Have fun.

the motor mounts in the front&trans. are bad so it looks like im not gonna enjoy me newest edition 4 a coulple of days
