Best header for a Type R?
I was into looking for a header and cant decide on which one to get. I hear the DC sports jdm is as good as the japan jdm and I dont have to get a new cat if I do the DC. What other headers are there other than these two. Im fairly new to this game so please help me out.

All of these headers use a 2.5 collector which will all require similar modification to make them work. You can use a 2.5 >> 2 collector pipe and mate it up to the stock cat but you will most likely have to take some length out of the exhaust piping because i believe the JDM ITR is longer than the stock header.
None of the headers will bolt directly up to the stock cat i would reccommend getting an aftermarket 2.5 Cat or testpipe for the best fitment.

Otherwise dont even bother. The main reason for his questions is unlike many others they just go ahead and buy the product based on what an article said. But hes smarter than that and rather ask people with real world experience rather than just a band wagon.I second what B16aracer mentioned.
Of the ones listed above and taking into account the gains versus dollars spent the DC JDM 4-1 is right on the money though it will NOT bolt up to your stock cat because of the 2.5 collector. Some modification will be required.

Thanks for all of the replies. I forgot that the jdm DC needed an aftermarket cat. How is the the regular DC 4-1 different from the jdm DC(horsepower)? Is it worth the extra money and hassle to do the jdm DC? Oh and I dont have the stock ride height i have coilovers and pretty low to the ground. Thankx again
