Custom Intake manifold
Crower 3 cams w/ adjustable gears
skunk 2 springs and ti retainers
Ferrera valves .5mm over
port and polish

Block
Darton sleeves 89mm bore
eagle H beam rods
11.5:1 weisco pistons
Manual belt tensioner swap

on p13ecu with VAFCII includes harness, ecu, vafcII and tranny

This thing rips and is in excellent condition (penzoil synthetic 5w-30 every 1500 miles)

dynoed at 210whp at 7700 and it will make power to about 10,000rpm safely
motor was put together by eastwoods machine shop in east windsor, ct.

Roughly the same power, funny he also wants to rev to 10 haha. Not makin fun of ya Johnson I just thought it was funny.

IS it possible that those cams are just junk?? Roskos makin 240 on Pro2s

Euro-R = 240.5hp @8300, Peak torque 163.5 lb-ft @7500
Dual TB = 241.2hp @8200, Peak torque 172.1 lb-ft @4600

Also you said u made 212 hp and 200tq??? Dyno graph or BS cause thats REDICULOUS tq for that little hp

You are comparing a motor with a more extensive built and dynoed with a lot better weather conditions compared to what was dynoed at proven power. It was 102+ degrees when running the car.

Lets break it down:

That H22 has oversized vlaves
Custom intake mani (assuming it was built right)
Thinner oil
Better dyno conditions as far as weather goes
as well as assuming there was good headers and exhaust on it.

So all in all this still is not a bad build compared to your buddies cars.

Well if we had a dyno sheet we would know what the weather conditions were. But how am I supposed to know that unless i seen it.

Doesn't johnsons have oversized valves?

Custom intake manifold? Ok so with the Euro R which is still a factory manifold he still made the same power just a little higher up and Johnson has a skunk2 so whats your point?

Thinner oil? are you a psychic?

I give you the fact that Rosko has a SSR header and a 3" exhaust

I was just showing him a motor with similar mods to see where he stands.

I just think that if hes makin 212 WHP hes not making 200wtq unless something is seriously wrong with the motor in the topend It just does not make any sense. I wanna see a sheet. The Ebay header could have alot to do with it as they are junk.

All in all great work and in the end the only way to measure how much power a motor makes is to see what it does down the 1/4 anyway.

now go have a beer

Johnsons' still had break in oil on the dyno.

It did not make that much torque. 170WTQ is more like it...

170 I believe, but he said he made 212 and 200 that's why I was so antsie about that dynosheet lol.

Roskos was on torco breakin oil, btw just to save that motor ditch the pensoil and either run amsoil diesel oil or torco, royal purple. All those oils have the needed smmount of zinc addative in them to prevent rocker damage and cam wear.
