can i run turbo on stock b17a1??????
i have a 91 hatch with a b17a1 all the bolt ons including aem cam gears and adjustable fuel pressure reg. I was wondering if i could runa turbo with low 8-10 lbs of boost with out having to pull my motor and do bottom end work. or would my motor blow up or detonate or something.

Get the motor rebuilt and sleeved and then boost till your heart is content or blow it up and buy a new motor...

8-10 is right in the ballpark for what p.s.i. you can run on a stock turbo kit. like the drag kits wastegates are set for 8 from drag so you should be ok. just make sure you do some perventive matience bfore you do the kit I.E. new bearings seals thicker head gasket will help also. Basicly a nice rebuild wich will cost you around 300-500 depending on where you get the parts from and how far you go.
