sup all...

was just wondering what are the approximate break in times for new camshafts and a new clutch if any at all.

I just recently installed skunk2 cams springs and retainers and an act extreme pressure plate and street disk and have heard pretty much everything on how many miles i should break them in I was just wondering what you guys thought.

Clutch break-in will require about 400-500 miles of city type driving meaning stay off the highway and keep to stop and go traffic. As for the cams there really isnt much of a break-in procedure. Just make sure the lobes are lubed up and then try to drive it around at a constant speed for 10 minutes or so. Some people like to toss the car into neutral and let it sit at 3grand or so for 10 minutes which is fine as well.

cams- Another method is to leave the rev at 2000rpm for 20 minutes (in neutral).
