Hey guys I have a 96 Civic EX with 105K miles on it. Within the last 3 days the tranny has started making a grinding? noise when accelerating. It sounds similar to the sound it makes in reverse. I havent checked the gear oil level (5 speed) and am unsure how. It still seems to shift fine other than I am going to need a clutch in about 6 months. Is this a common sound just due to age or is it a sign that I nay be needing a new one soon?

Assuming I can get the trans out myself is there any special tools or machining needed to replace the bearing?
