Does anyone know where I can get some tranny work done around here in Tampa. I think I got a shift fork bent real bad or maybe a bad syncro. Let me know. Thanks.

Other than you there are about 4 other VW owners on here (that post). I live in Bradenton so I dont know of any good shops in that area.

Take a look at the stealership first. Reeves generally does the best work and their prices arent that bad. E-mail me if you have any questions as I live in Tampa too! Welcome aboard! What kind of Volkswagon do you have?

Try Cars and Concepts in Tampa. They do the tranny work for most of the VW places in that area. No worries they do great work. Their number is 813-348-6183.

Thanks Guys. I am the proud owner of a 95 Jetta 2.0L. Slow but its better than a honda. Acme I met you at the Shell this past saturday. Im not sure if you remember or not. Its finally nice to talk to some volkwagen guys. I though I was gonna have to go my whole life listening to my best freind goin on and on about hondas.
