well the prob. is on a 90 teg LS befor it wouldent stay in 5th
gear and now it wont go in 5th gear???? any ideas???

Syncro. I believe that in all honda trannys there is a syncro for 1&2 3&4 and a seperate one for 5th. I dont know how to be sure of that but was it really notchy into 5th before this started?

 

well its not my car but one I have done much work on and as
far as I know that sounds about right....do you know if I can
fix this with out droping the tranny.....like going through the
side plate on the tranny???
